The Opportunity
This Quantity Surveyor position is to join a small consultancy featuring on some of the UK’s & Europe’s most well-known projects in a remote capacity. If you have enjoyed working from home and want to do that full time then this is for you!
You will be working with a leading Contract Administrator / Commercial Manager assisting main contractors and cost consultancies with their sub contract agreements. The contracts are general NEC.
Travel to Manchester is needed once a month (and for the interview).
Requirements
The Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant have the following;
- 3-5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- BSc Quantity Surveying
- Project exposure using an NEC form of contract
- Ideally worked for an established name in the industry
- Ability to work from home unsupervised.

Assistant Estimator

Requirements
The Assistant Estimator have the following;
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an Junior / Assistant Estimator
- Main Contractor experience, preferably in civil engineering but construction considered
- Ideally worked for an established name in the industry
- Ability to work from home unsupervised.

Quantity Surveyor – M&E
Greater Manchester
£30,000 - 38,000 per annum + car/allowance + other benefits
The Opportunity
This M&E Quantity Surveyor role presents a great opportunity for an Intermediate / Project QS level QS with some experience in the M&E sector, you don’t need to be an M&E expert, however you do have to some experience on M&E packages at some point during your career.
The role will suit someone who enjoys a technical and consultative role supporting the project teams who wishes to develop in the future to a Senior M&E QS and specialise in this field, a skill set that is always in demand.
Our client is one of the region’s leading brands with a variance of work across the region – public sector & private sector projects - who require further commercial support on the M&E packages. The role will allow you to work closely with the lead Director offering high quality training and experience.
Requirements
The Quantity Surveyor have the following;
- Around 5 Years’ experience as QS
- M&E / Build Services package experience, either from an M&E sibby or package management whilst employed by a main contractor
- Based in the North West
- BSc Quantity Surveying is desired.

Our client a nationwide Tier 1 contractor whose name is synonymous with not only delivering excellence within the construction industry but also for how they invest and develop their staff are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their thriving North West team. Predominantly this client works on projects within the multi-occupancy sector, either residential or hotels and as well as this they work on other projects within different sectors too. Typically projects are between £10m - £30m.
They are seeking an all-rounder of a Senior Site Manager, someone with a track record of delivering projects from contract awarded stage through to handing over to the client.

- Ideally over 5 years in a No.1 Site Manager position on projects over £20m
